Welcome to Good Samaritan Lodge #336

This is the home of Good Samaritan Lodge #336 Free & Accepted Masons, we are part of the 42nd Masonic District, and under the Jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. We meet on the 2nd Thursday at 7:30pm at our lodge at 9 Lincoln Square, Gettysburg. Join us for dinner at 6:30pm before the stated meeting.

Our centuries-old fraternity tradition was to wait for men to inquire about membership. Today, we embrace our brothers to invite men to submit a petition. We welcome brothers who bring character and heart to our fraternity. We also invite all men who are interested in our brotherhood to join the Freemasons of Pennsylvania. Please reach out to our Lodge Secretary for more information.

Who we are?

Freemasonry is the oldest and largest fraternal organization in the world. Masons represent virtually every occupation and profession, yet within the Fraternity all meet as equals.

Members must be men, at least 18 years of age and of good moral character.

Freemasonry is not a religion. It only requires that its members believe in a Supreme Being.

What we do?

Freemasons are seekers of knowledge and value education. Our efforts are applied toward making good men better through personal development. While there is a social aspect to the Fraternity, our true goal is to help each man grow as a person and to contribute to his community.

We are active in our community, raise funds for charitable organizations, provide scholarships for local students applying to colleges, and seek to improve our community.

How to join?

To qualify for membership, a petitioner must be male, at least 18 years of age, one who believes in the existence of a Supreme Being, of good moral character, motivated to join for reasons unrelated to personal gain or profit, prompted by a favorable opinion of Freemasonry, desirous of earning knowledge and willing to conform to the customs of the fraternity.
