Become a Royal Arch Mason

Looking to take the next step in Freemasonry? The Holy Royal Arch is always looking for dedicated and energetic men to join our ranks! Royal Arch Masonry, also commonly referred to as "Chapter," is the second step along the York Rite path in Freemasonry, and is a requirement for many of the other appendant bodies.  The lessons taught in the Royal Arch Degrees offer answers to many of the questions that remain from the first three Degrees given in the Blue Lodge.

Membership Requirements:

In order to become a Member of a Chapter within the jurisdiction of the Grand Holy Royal Arch Chapter of Pennsylvania, you must first be a Master Mason in a regularly constituted and duly warranted Lodge. Your Lodge does not have to be a Lodge in Pennsylvania, be it must be in a Lodge in fraternal communication with the Right Worshipful Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania.

How to Join?

To start the process you need to submit a petition for membership to the Chapter for consideration. You can make your inquiries of obtaining a petition by contacting the Chapter directly, speaking with a known Chapter member, or clicking the link and downloading the petition below.

Petitions are carefully read, eligibility investigated, and selection for membership must be approved by a vote of the Chapter as in the preceding Degrees.  If you are looking to further your Masonic education, and want to expand upon the knowledge received from your Blue Lodge experience, we highly encourage you to submit your petition!
