So why is the Mark Degree so central to Freemasonry? It is sometimes said to be an extension of the Second Degree in the Craft. Ideally the Mark, as it is the requirement in other constitutions, is a logical step from the Craft to the Royal Arch and enables the candidate to more fully appreciate the structure and beauty of Solomonic Masonry. This Degree, and the lessons offered within, give a more complete understanding of the first three Degrees in Freemasonry , and we highly recommend you join and learn.

To start the process, you must first submit a petition for membership to Good Samaritan Mark Lodge #139 for consideration. These petitions can be obtained by asking a known member of the Mark Lodge to get you one, by visiting the Mark Lodge during one of our events or Open Houses, by contacting the Mark Lodge directly, or by clicking the link below:
Petitions are carefully read, eligibility investigated, and selection for membership must be approved by a vote of the Lodge as in the preceding Degrees.
